In other news I got a call today from the company I interviewed with and they have made an offer to someone else. The search goes on.

They couldn't handle someone as good as you.
My firm offered the job to someone else before me. She worked here a month and then quit. Then they offered me the job and were so nice about everything, because they were afraid they caused the other lawyer to quit. Don't burn any bridges, but I'm really sorry they didn't make you the offer first.
